The work of keeping these fish, it’s proven to be a bit more time consuming than I enjoy lately. I still spoil these fish and truth be told even the water changes aren’t that much work- but I still find myself wishing I could be outdoors more. I will need to establish a bit of a routine if I want to see these fish continue to spawn and lay eggs when the time comes when I’ll be able to be outdoors a lot more.

I also need to make a move- there are fish that I need to separate, and I’d like to get a couple more aquariums out of the bedroom. With the fish so near to my desk for work, they had often distracted me in the past- but less so lately. I would find myself compulsively changing the water during my work day at the most inopportune times. As far as the moves, I’d also like to get them separated and organized now that they’ve colored up, and I need to keep working on finding homes for many of them.
